Cool Book Cover Design
One of my previous posts about a cool book cover got some feedback, so I figured I would follow it up with another one. I knew of a few other cool book cover designs, so I’ve added them. I’ve also researched a few others and downloaded them.
For the book covers that are copywritten – just let me know that they are yours and I’ll gladly link to you if I haven’t already. Please don’t censor me

As Swizz Beatz and Jay Z would say: On to the next one, on to the next… (hopefully I don’t get censored for posting copywritten content from the music industry too!)
On to the first cool book cover design:
Futuretainment. This is one of the coolest darn books I’ve read. Just a great read on media from the past, where it has come, and where it could go in the future. Overall it simply has the best photography and coolest graphics out of any book I’ve read. The content isn’t so bad itself though – there are some really good ideas – past and present – that we can all learn from. I strongly recommend nabbing this book. Not only is it a great read, it’s a cool book cover design that looks great on a coffee table.
The Third Man Factor: The Secret to Survival in Extreme Environments. A very nice book cover design, and it actually looks like a really neat book that I will more than likely read sometime in 2012.
Accident, by Ross Hamilton. Love unconventional designs, and they translated it over to book cover designs.
Valkyrie. The story of the plot to kill Hitler, by its last member, Philipp Freiherr von Boselager. Great use of the 90-10 rule (actually it is a little less than 10% of color being used here, but I still think it turns out a great design.
Frankenstein, by Mary Shelly. Not sure who did this design, but if the originator comes across it, please let me know and I’ll link to you!
